Streets of Genoa... I made this selection of images from Genoa available for educational purposes only. I took this images in 2009, one year before turning into a professional photographer. I was attending a three days photography workshop by world famous photographer Paolo Pellegrin. At the beginning of the course, looking at my literally four images portfolio, Paolo Pellegrin said ‘Let’s move to the next photographer, from Mugur we’ve got nothing to see’. Four days later, he edited this work and handed me my first portfolio. He only asked one thing of me. He knew a Romanian photographer that was bombarding him with insane requests to be accepted as a Magnum photographer. He said ‘I give you this but you must promise you show it to that photographer’. After he looks you say ‘This is something created from zero in just three days’.
